Emanuel Joseph "Manny' Murgola, age 71, born August 24, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2009 in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Geri; sons, Joseph Murgola and wife Kimberly, and Peter Murgola and wife Veta; grandchildren, Giovanni and Sofia; sisters, Joan Ulrich and Sandra Murgola.
The family is particularly grateful to Sandy Stacy for her special loving care during his final days.A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the Bradshaw-Carter Home, 1734 West Alabama. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1505 Kane Street, Houston, Texas.
Manny recorded with renowned pianist Dick Barlow at the Warwick Hotel in Houston.
